This year, Summer at the Rock started on June 10 and ends July 30.

Highlighting the Summer at the Rock event is the nightly Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision, a fireworks and laser light display showing state-of-the-art graphics, lasers, lights, music and breathtaking fire effects that create a multi-dimensional magic on Stone Mountain, considered as one of the world’s largest outdoor screens.

This year, the Lasershow featured water effects, new music, animation, an immersive laser canopy and a fleet of robotic drones synced with music in front of the mountain face.

Adding attraction to the lasershow is a three-flame cannon where a trio of flames is thrown nearly one-hundred feet into the air, giving a magnificent view over Stone Mountain Park.

The Lasershow Spectacular is a tradition in Atlanta that you should never miss.

Aside from the annual Summer at the Rock event and the Lasershow Spectacular, another activity to look forward to in Stone Mountain is the Festival Under the Magnolia where hand-selected jewelers, potters, painters and crafters present their works in the intimate Historic Square venue of the Stone Mountain Park.

The festival features artist demos, food trucks and wine tasting, among other activities.

Listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2001, Stone Mountain is a great place in Georgia that should be included in your bucket list.
